Just bored... so how many hits does your site get daily (on average)?
I get 7 or so which I think is ok for a smallish site like mine
(btw i mean hits for the homepage only, not all the site's pages' hits added up)

i think that most webmasters here will be getting 100 and over if theyve been running it for more than a month or so

maybe the poll should be amended as i dont think it reflects the average members website here

woah, for real? That's a lot of hits... I knew some ppl here had sites like that, thanks for putting me right that it's so many! My poor little site is getting lonely here with its 7 hits per day lol

my new sites about 2 weeks old but its getting 50 hits a day but it hasnt been entered in any search engines yet

my other sites currently gets around 500 uniques a day

a lot depends on what genre your site is in

joke sites for example have very high traffic

well i visit a lot of forums and i exchanged links with about 2 other websites (thats all i think)

ive got over 600,000 impressions on adwiz and i targeted my site for a week which got me some hits but i stopped them for the moment and im letting them build up again

my man united site gets around 200,000 page views a month so i can build up my adwiz impressions very quickly

I sold my playstation 2 cheat codes site a couple months ago that was getting 3000 uniques a day and a game site with 1000+ a day.

This site: 250 and growing.

Entertainment sites are much easier to get high traffic to than other site. Thousands of people search for PS2 cheats and games every day, but only so many people search for webmaster forums or tools

I am not bragging because I know many people who get much higher traffic than any of my sites ever have. But I would revise the poll to: 0-25, 26-100, 101-300,301-500, 501-700, 701-.....up to 2000+

Chief what script did you use for your codes? Myself and two others are moving into Beta with our kick-*** cheats script but it took us a while to develop and just wondering if it was for nothing. I couldnt find any scripts on the market to buy that are made soley for Cheat Databases and such.

I simply collected cheats for about 200 PS2 games (from other sites - public domain) and made a cheat code page for each game.

My success also was because of the optimization (domain name and set-up). It is also in the Yahoo Directory, DMOZ, and has top rankings in Google.

I probably should have held onto it, but I really needed the money.

Maybe when you edit the poll you could change it to pageviews instead. Depending on what stats I use, I get between 600 and 2000 visitors per day, but both systems tell me I get around 2500 pageviews a day.
