Hi, i've read in many places people talking about PR and "number of pages in google"

how can someone check to find this info out abuot a site they have?

well i found out the PR and the pages on google.. sorry for the newbie question w.o the research...

my next question's .... how can one increase their PR and google pages?

With more link exchange with related sites, and
craete more contents :-)

The "miniscule version" of SEO:

Generate as much keyword rich content as you can...content is king (despite recent google algorithm changes, besides, it will be "in" again once MSN is launched)

Get as many incoming links as you can from large, highly ranked, industry/subject-relevant sites.
