A PR of 5, yes, that's great, but you're not linking from your homepage. Your links page is PR2, which is better than mine, but many people are looking at that as an important factor.

And your "Welcome" message is not very welcoming to me. It comes across to me as condesending. I mean, my site would have to meet your approval? Excuse me? Why would I submit my site, which I have spent thousands of hours developing, to your approval?

Of course, you have a perfect right to approve or reject any link swap deal, but there's no need to explain that on your page. What does it accomplish to tell me that you might reject my link request?

I have seen other web site doing this and I guess that making that statement gives the webmaster a good feeling; a feeling of control and power. There's nothing wrong with that, except that it might not bring many link requests.

I was just going to say, I changed that. I don't know why the PR is a 2 for the links page. That should be a pr of 4. It should change on the next update hopefully.
