After a delay of several months, I am pleased to announce the launch of Forum Zilla, the forum only search engine. The idea is that users can type in a topic that interests them (like 'cars) and the site will return them a list of direct links to relevant forums. All forums are hand checked before being listed.

A site like Forum Zilla will only become a useful resource with the support of the forum webmaster community. If you run a forum then please submit it to the database. Links, announcements, etc. about Forum Zilla to your own forum's users would also be greatly appreciated

I like the idea of that site, but how about a directory of forums. Link havea entertainment section with movie, music, and entertainment forums.

We tried that originally, but a lot of forums fitted in to 2 or more categories and that system would have required a *lot* of categories for it to make any sense.

I just have to say I really like your search engine its so unique! I hope it catches on I have been using sense I saw your post on another forum.
