Hi, I was thinking about an alternative to the traditional link exchange today.
What about content exchange with a link back?
For example, a friend of mine wrote an article about using XUL with eclipse. He's just getting started on his site, so he asked me to publish it on mine. I did but, I identified his as the author and placed a link back to his site. His also links to mine.
I'll reciprocate soon.
Anyway, back to the point. The fundamental items for good SEO are lots of good content and links from good sites. So, it seems like a content exchange (not duplication) with links, would be a good way for site owners to mutually help each other. Granted, content does take more work than simple links.
