I've heard they have a bad reputation regarding spyware. Personally, I find that their ads are a turn-off and would never use them on my websites.

Actually, now that you mention that I think I accidentallly did visit the site once... and I ended up with a virus. Norton removed it though.

I've just signed up with ZangoCash. I see they say that you get paid up to 40 cents per install. I think that's really pretty low, seeing that YPN pays up to $2 per click . I'll test them out and tell you guys how it is working for me.

Hmmm..... I hope I can find more professional people here... every forum I go to is full of newbies that always atack me when I say I am a Zango lover, lol.

Ok, here is the deal...
I have been using Zango for over a year. Even before Zangocash was created I had a private agreement with them and were promoting their app.
It is NOT spuyware. It is an app that shows you a few popups per day, nothing really bad. It is also an app that can be remove in a few seconds from your computer, you don't need to dig into your registry or do a format to get rid of it.

Does it work? For me it sure does. I am earning over $3k a month with them. Their support is great and I love them.

What do you need? Traffic. Lots of it. And not returning taffic, it must be fresh. So if you have a site top ranked at search engines you are a perfect match for it.

I won't post affiliate links here, but if anyone is interested in giving them a try feel free to PM me, if you join via my referral I will coach you and guide you on what campaigns to use and how to optimize them

I have had many people tell me I should use them, because I get a lot of new people viewing one of my sites every day. I don't ever visit a site that has me download that, so i'm sure a lot of my users would turnk it down too.

The zango service is the same as 180 Solutions or Metrics Direct. They install spy ware on people’s computers via free games or screensavers or whatever, and part of the agreement is to show the end user ads. It might even come bundled with Limewire and other P2P applications. Most people have no idea they are agreeing to receive pop-ups. It is easy to uninstall so it’s not as evil as it was in the past.

It’s usually referred to as parasite ware. You can do more research here.
http://forum.abestweb.com/forumdisplay.php?f=173
And here
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/180-affiliates/

Basically… What it does, is pop-up Your website over other affiliates or even the actual merchant’s website. Since affiliate programs are usually designed for “Last set cookie wins” the commission. Popping up over other affiliates websites will ensure you have the last set cookie and not the affiliate website you are targeting. They might have spent $2.00 for the PPC click but you probably spent $0.03 on the pop-up to steal their visitor & affiliate cookie. (People hate having their affiliate cookies pirated this way)

This technique is referred to as cookie piracy or hijacking.

You can even pop up over the actual merchant’s website at full screen. The visitor could visit the merchant by a bookmark, but if you are targeting the merchant and they have the adware installed… You're website pops up. The user will likely click the affiliate ad on your website to return to the merchant and you have the cookie set.

You can target by website or keyword. If the keyword is on the website, like Google in the SERPs, it can trigger a pop-up. If the infected user visits a targeted website, it triggers a pop-up.

Many of the more sophisticated affiliate programs have policies against using ad ware & pop-ups. If you get caught, you will likely be banished from the program and earnings withheld. I believe the major programs like CJ & LinkShare have policies against this type of activity.

You should read the individual merchant’s as well as affiliate program’s terms and conditions carefully before you start advertising your affiliate website with ad-ware or pop-ups.

You can make some money this way, but some people don't like or allow it. It's up to you.

I have a junk computer filled with every kind of adware I can find installed on it. It enables me to see who is targeting my websites. If I catch someone, I report them.

I hope this helps.

Aloha,
Dave.
