anyone use vbSEO addon with their VB forums?

Is it worth the extra time and money or does it just use mod_rewrite for pretty url structure?

Personally I like to add everything by hand.. And if not scripts are usually custom.

I researched it a bit and found that lots of gig sites are choosing not to use it. I decided it really wasn't necessary, and that google does fine with the urls "as is".

Yes (affirming the negative), in my opinion it is not worth getting, and there is a pretty good thread on Digital Point forums about this.

I currently use PostNuke, but I am in the process of migrating everything off of it and onto Joomla. IMHO, Joomla is much better than PostNuke, especially for SEO. Open-SEF is doing a great job and I use it on every site. It's realitively new, so a few of the addon's don't support it, but even in those cases, the standard SEF from joomla kicks in. It's not as pretty, but at least it takes out all of the & ? php stuff.

I just purchased IPB and migrated from phpBB2. I loved phpBB2, but I am never looking back. IPB runs so much better.

I too am looking into PHP Link Directory. I have a few sites I want to get running on it. dvduval, are you the developer? If so, my hats off to you on a great looking product. My next $75 of earnings are yours. ;-)

Wordpress for me! It's very easy, specially for a non-web-techie like me I have always wanted a nice-looking semicommercial blog, and this so far has given me what I have wanted

Have you tried dragonflycms ?

Its a bit like postnuke.

I have a few sites running it and find it much easier than Drupol and Joomla.
