Hi everyone,

First of all, before I get into detail, I'd just like to say that I'm banned from Adsense and I can't place Yahoo ads as I don't live in the US.

Ok, well, I have a site that teaches people how to do various breakdancing moves through video based and text based tutorials. The site is http://www.pimpmywalk.com

It will also soon become a site for people to showcase their home made breakdancing videos using our automated system.

People are already recommending the site to their friends and many people have learnt the moon walk thanks to my site.

The question is, how should I monetize my site if I don't have adsense? Should I go for Tribal Fusion (once I have enough traffic), should I go for pop-up ads?

I've hired a designer to create a new design for the site and will begin to promote it once it's done.

I'd certainly appreciate any advice you can give.

I only thought of that because I see pop-up ads on nearly every entertainment site I go to and I've noticed that most of the people I know (teenagers) tend to click on pop-up ads all the time. Now this might not apply to all teenagers, but it's a start I guess.

Anyways, how would you recommend me to monetize my site?

look for targeted and specific ads. Don't get the banners from programs, but from companies directly; You have quite a specific audience so that's interesting for relevant companies to advertise for..

1. Get traffic going, get users involved
2. don't worry about income, get more traffic and users
3. users
4. work on the advertisement. This will be easy now you have such a large and targeted userbase

You may want to try AzoogleAds, I don't know if they're restricted to US (I don't think so but you never know).

You also can sell banner or text links. If you have good traffic, you can setup an account at text-link-ads.com. Just go take a look at how it works, it's a good service and Patrick Gavvin, the owner, is a good guy

Are you receiving a lot of pageviews? If so I would look into valueclick or a simular program.
