The methods to earn seem to be content with contextual ads (AdSense, YPN, Chitika). Probably nothing to do with WordPress..

The best thing with wordpress these days is the plugins that are available. I am starting to build static sites with it. The ability to get free templates, add plug ins that optimize the site, and modify it quickly is outstanding.

Plus, I have spent the last year in it daily so I know my way around.

The large majority of my sites are WordPress based. I have them set to autoupdate themselves all day long, and traffic comes in all day long. WordPress rocks.

Even on sites that are more standard, I generally have an autoupdated blog set up and linked to which drives traffic to the main pages. I love WordPress. Easy to set up and easy to use.

I'm not sure if we can include affiliate links in this forum (so if not then mods please feel free to delete) but I highly recommend RSS2Blog if you're interested in autoupdated blogs.

How is that different than the feedwordpress plugin, other than costing a fortune?

As far as I can tell, feedwordpress creates posts based on RSS feeds only, whereas RSS2Blog uses several means to create posts. That would be one thing and I'm in the middle of making dinner at the moment so I can't elaborate more but I'll be happy to later on. In the mean time I'm sure you could find the major differences by checking out the features of RSS2Blog.

I've made thousands of dollars from using RSS2Blog so the $197 price tag really isn't an issue with me, but sure if you find something for free that works for you then all the better. :thumbup:

zeekr, no WP just makes it easy to publish your articles and also get a lot of functional plugins too. Yea AdSense, YPN, Chitika are the biggest monetizers for blogs.

it's harder to earn good money with blogs, people who read blogs are mostly techies and geeks who don't click on ads..

But ith large traffic and right monetization it can be very profitable

The most important thing is original content. WordPress is just another tool that people use. Many gaming sites use CMS. So, you can think that WP is just another tool like CMS's. But you've got to remember that quality is what drives traffic, which will eventually lead to money. Without quality, it's pretty much meaningless.
