I made about $200 (Adsense) so far with this forum for July.

Would anyone please be so kind to give me some pointers?

Hard to give you some pointers when we dont know your site or how you have your ads laid out.:-D

Forum don't usually earn much. You're lucky you have a large traffic.

yes without knowing the site it is hard to say but forums are tough earners.

i would find some kind of CPM to go along side adsense

Do this, make a website with content for your visitors to go to, and I am sure you'll start earning much more, you can also create new sites and advertise them on your site and personally recommend them to your visitors and put adsense on them, some of those sites can serve affiliates even. So thats much much more money.

One thing you should never ask can i do better... as you always can... it is just a matter of if you want to put time into it... doing better doesn't always mean trying to pound an extra penny out of that dime site it might mean starting a new site or branch off etc...

Bet you can find some good stuff to promote through pop ups or email directly to your user base at Azoogleads or hydramedia or CPAempire. I love the CPA networks and pimp them all day long! Find specific offers that appeal to your user base directly. PM your site and I'll have a look and suggest some offers that woul dwork for you and what you might expect in earnings from them.

I didn't like adbrite, clicksor's payout was horrible, and Tribal never accepted me.

Just stick with the normal ones and the really exclusive ones

clicksor.com has terrible relevancy (http://www.fanabu.com/multiple-income-streams.php click refresh a few times to see what i mean), unfortuanately it is the only alternative to adsense for non-US residents. I hope YPN is made international soon
