Near almost always the best sites and most profitable ones are those created by an owner who has a passionate interest in the content of their site, spends alot of time on concept, layout, content and its users.

BTW, I'm not necessarily thinking about getting into the adult industry. Granted there is huge money there but I think anymore you need a lot more then just some thumb nail gallery to make big bucks. Then again I could be wrong I dunno as I'm not into that corner of the web. This was just a curiosity type question as to why it's considered wrong here.

Its all a matter of personal morals WoodiE...
If you want to make money from sexploitation, you may seem like a pimp to some people, who sells sex. I myself had a free adult website once but I never did feel quite right about it. Then I thought about if I became a bigtime adult webmaster who makes a lot of money and how I would feel about my trade. I did not like the idea of all my money coming from sex sites so I dropped the adult idea. Sex always sells of course, so if you just want the money and dont care about the moral or possible legal implications, then its a great way to go. But I just found out that I wasnt as interested in it as I thougt Id be.

I think in the long run it will help this forum grow and help the people in the forum meet the dreams of earning MAD money off of the internet and still be able to sleep at night.
One key is as you stated you don't have to beat the system... just know how it works and most importantly realize it is always changing. IF you can't handle change then the online business is probably not for you as some days you may make thousands and 3 days later you may make 3 bucks ... but hopefully with knowledge shared and gained from this forum people can help levelize that effect.

Hi xboxundone,How are you doing?xboxundone I wanted to know how long you have been in this business. And how long has it taken you to earn what you earn now.I'am in my second week of my training and although I was looking into the internet business I'am finding theres loads to learn.

Great forum. Only downside is I will have to pull an all-nighter to read all the posts.
Looking forward to a green badge some day. WIth 3 years of IM experience I will help where I can as well.
Take Care,
Michael
P.S. With what I have read in this forum so far I may not need to read my other forums any more. Thanks Everyone!

Hello ! Greetings from Wales ,UK !! I am a Welshman, so I decided to call myself just that when I joined this forum this morning. I only discovered it a few hours before that. I own very many domain names and about 40 mini-web sites connected to a bigger , world-wide one. I try to sell some of the tourism domains when possible , but I am also an affiliate of a holiday company that sells holidays or vacations that are being offered by top British travel companies. The trouble is that I do not get enough hits per day
and those that do click on my sites are not actually buying holidays, therefore I am not earning an income. Have you got any first-class tips that do NOT involve spending money?

My tip is look around for all the free money offered by advertising networks. Google/Yahoo/Bidvertiser all offer money if you find the special links on google or floating around on other webmaster forums. (sometimes requires min deposit)
That way you can try these services out before spending your own megabucks. Even if your a publisher, spending $10 and getting $120 free clicks is worth it.

LOL/stop doing crap that doesn't work.
I guess we all run into some crap at some point. And I think, for some, crap pays.
Non crap pays more. But you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince!
Going back to the very first thread/posting in this forum, I'd agree with what was said there. I don't want to get into any shady practises. I feel there are some great ways to earn a good honest few quid on the internet and so this is now my experiment to see if I can finally achieve it.
Looking forward to some positive experiences in this forum.
Regards

i've been doing things the wrong way all my life and it only got me in trouble and in debt!
I fully agree with remaining ethical in your approach to making money online.
YOu can be wealthy and a remain a good person. remember no-one likes a rich c**t; and karma can be a *****!
Cheers Lee, you sound like a good fella. I guess i'm at the researching point you mentioned in your first message, so i'm pleased i've found a great resource such as this, with the added networking benefits.

I am fairly new to making money online and I have come across many ways to make money, some good and some a bit shady. I want to continue to learn ethical ways to make money online and I really appreciate that I can come to this forum to learn and share ideas. The recent changes will keep this a quality forum.

Ethics are certainly an important factor in all my actions and thinking too. But then I just would still like to point out that our world ain't black or white - it's about shades of gray in most cases.
My own case as a very good example: Modern Network Marketing. Well... As I certainly despise and would NOT recommend any old world, analog network marketing company for anyone, the new era of rapidly growing social networking combined with latest scripting technology making handling a constantly living dynamic matrix (instead of a static, unjust pyramid) possible is imo a perfect example of an "old world dark grey, but newborn, quite white business concept".
I admit, that many haters would love to be able to rip (me and?) my idea into small pieces, but they just don't have the facts for that anymore... So as said, a dark grey old context idea can sometimes become quite white
Regs,
-Mika
PS. The intro to my conceptual thinking is found at my sig links.
