Well this describes me perfectly. Unfortunately all I've done so far is a little on the shady side but I'd be happy to leave that behind if I had an idea that I could believe in.

In the past few months I've found that more and more topics are based on shady SEO practices and how to beat the rules of myspace in order to send SPAM to phished friends (or is that phriends?)

I'm a bit weary of the discussions that seem to be honoring unethical business practices.

I suppose that many members have forgotten this thread or never found it.

I think we need to revisit the committment to be above board, truthful, honest, ethical people in attempts to earn money on the internet. There are differences between a guy with a license to sell hot dogs on the corner and the guy with prescription drugs he will sell you on the same corner.

Be honest in your business dealings.

Be ethical in your business choices.

Know that the extra bucks in your pocket do not put a decent bandaid on the heart of deceit.

I sleep well at night knowing I behaved honestly, treated others with respect and put in a hard days work with intelligent strategies.

Do you?

Goodwill is also a good reason not to scam people. For about a year I got by on pure goodwill, no realistic business coming in but people helped me keep afloat.
