I have a page 1 listings for SEO books on google looking for developer to help design site. I want to beat SEO book dot com getting bored winning SEO contest should be able to make a lot of money here. I am good at SEO but weak at Designing sites. I will get page 1 listing for SEO book was #18 but google droped me back when my host for holding domains waiting for Dev died

Lets Monetization this site.

lol - you have no hope in hell of beating Aaron out for #1 for SEO Book. None... He owns that term. You'd have to get seriously midevil on his *** to make that happen. Seriously.

Some of those links may be hurting him.
#2 should be easy because everyone is afriad to challange him.
I know I can beat him for "SEO books"
I have a good plan to beat him but it will take awhile I have a long way to catch up.

If I beat him it should be worth major bucks I going to give it a shot how much money do you think he makes off of it? I have not even put in much effort for my current postion I bought the domain add a few links and forgot about it and now its #9 LOL I think I have a good chance

Aaron does well for a lot of reasons. SEOBook.com does well for being a great resource. How much does he make off of being #1 for 'SEO Book'? Probably not as much as he makes of of the prestige for being so. I wouldn't imagine that he makes more than a K or two a month specifically off of those terms.

There really is not much traffic for related terms, like "seo books".

I can maybe see someone competing in MSN if they got enough links quickly, but most likely the only way someone will outrank me in Google or Yahoo! for my core brand term is if my site is nuked out of the results.

ChickenHole, I know Aaron is an SEO expert but it doesn't means that no one can beat him. seocontest working hard and talking about it and I believe he can certainly do by working hard and using all the correct SEO techniques.

Never ever underestimate anyone.

Just what I was going to say I regestered seobook.org.uk today I talked about it too soon and someone grabed seobook.co.uk this will give me a even domain match so now it will be all about the links all my links for seobooks.net are "SEO book" but google see the s on the domain and adds it. Google gives a lot of weight to the domain name for 1 and 2 word searches with this domain I can prove that there is no sandbox for new domain names. I bet it has page 1 by end of month for "SEO book" on google

You are right the #1 spot will not be easy but top 10 will be.

Why would you directly attempt to challenge someone for a term, specifically naming their website, and getting a domain name similar to theirs, but not as good, while directly stating that you're vastly superior to someone who is highly regarded to be the best SEO-er out there?

By the way, search engines don't penalize people for using proper grammar or having website designs.

Aaron is great at seo, but by the spirit of what this site is suposed to be, you all should be encourageing each other, not trying to knock down any hope.
Come on, for all we know, this guy could be a jewl in the rough!
I say go for it, you should learn alot, and heck, if you even come close (which IS a possibility) you definetly will be set for SEO jobs!
