I got another question if you folks don't mind, I own a foreign musicians forum, now I was thinking maybe I should create some custom VB 3.5 based app maybe like a studio directory or something that could turn into profit? it's a very popular musicians forum, it's local and has over 100,000 posts.

I'd love to get some opinions on that.

Lonny, have you asked your members what they would find useful? Maybe you can take what you learn here and combine it with one of their ideas to monetize it.

It's the most popular musicians forum, I got them all the features they wanted, and nothing compares to this site in that country.

SO now any feature I'll throw at them would be great. I'm thinking about something which turns into profitable... because I already have the traffic and popularity...

Try to sell ringtones through CJ or something. I know music traffic for google adsense has pretty low cost per click. You could also try to sell instruments through amazon or ebay
