Owners of myspace layout and games sites, where do you get the myspace layouts from? Or do you make them all individually? Do you have to pay for them? etc

Also where dpoes the revenue come from? Adsense?

Even though I am technically a "layout" site... I only have about 6 layouts that I copied from other people's profiles. The rest of my site is about music, photos, videos, etc...

My top 3 revenue sources are... Adsense, Zango, and CareOne

I think most people buy a script (I can not show you examples because I don't know any) that includes layouts already.
I have heard of a few people making their own layouts though.

yeah please, also does anyone know the copyright issues with myspace layouts, i mean, on most myspace pages there is hardly ever, well i have never seen, a disclaimer saying this template is copyright 2006 blablabla, so presumably it would be ok to just take the layouts from any profiles i think look good that i stumble upon

Some of the layouts I make custom for my MySpace sites have watermarks on them, which generally prevents people from taking them to put on their own sites. I've also seen cases where a site is nabbed for using ripped layouts and can't use them anymore. I would say if you want to have decent looking layouts on a resource site the safest course of action would be to either make them yourself or buy them.

With that said there are a ton of layouts out there that are nothing more than a regular picture slapped onto the background with some bog standard HTML for the profile. In those cases I don't pretty much see any problem with using them since it's generally obvious that not a lot of creative thought or work went into their development.*
