Alright. I've got a forum that is fairly popular (at least for me, average of about 1200 visits and 25,000 pageviews per day) that I'd like to be more successful.
The adsense ads I have will currently cover about twice the cost of hosting per month, but obviously, I'd like it to do better. I've submitted it to a few directories, though it's a very niche market (and not a terribly profitable niche either, I'm guessing by my pay per click), but I was wondering how better to market it.
I don't mind taking a few months to develop its traffic, nor do I mind spending money that it has earned toward PPC advertising. So, that said, can I get any effective performance out of $2 per day with adsense? What would be your method to build its traffic?
If anyone wants to look at the site, it's at superherochat.net. Please don't fault me for the theme, as it's (very) old, and currently being redesigned. Also, it's JUST a forum right now, and I'm planning on adding a ton of content that, honestly, will probably do a good bit for organic link-building and traffic, but I was wondering what I could do in the meantime.
