For the past couple of months, I've been running Text Link Ads on my site cwire.org. So far, with their affiliate program and the ads that they're inserting on my site, I'm making between $300 and $600 per month. This month is looking like it might peak above $700.

I'd highly recommend checking them out as an alternative or even as a compliment to AdSense. Their support is awesome and so far I've made a good chunk of change from them too.

Quite honestly I like your write up but I do think you have a bit of a side motive here trying to get people to use your referral link. So I'm going to edit your post to make that known.

Yes, of course I have a side motive to make money -- don't we all?

But I think that it is an honest and accurate review of their site.

And yup, I am happily making that much :-)

I only make about $400 a month, but I was one of the first on there and the highest priced for the first month (and filled all my slots within a week!) .. but now I changed it so I have more slots but they haven't filled yet as there's much more competition on there now

Text Link Ads is doing a great job of marketing themselves.
Text Link Brokers is also a key player in this business and has some great programs for making money. I have been making a few hundred per month.

So let me get this straight. Whoever signs up for that program through your link , you get $25 just like that? Seems to good to be true. Someone clarify.

I don't think anyone is sure. Some people say you get payed if a publisher signs up, some say you get payed once a publisher's site is approved and others say you get payed once an advertiser buys a link on your site.
Maybe someone should send an e-mail to Text Link Ads to clarify?

I am browsing around and looking at the links in my industry and seeing what they are asking.... and if I get accepted I should make a killing off these links if people actually buy them. Sites no where near my size are asking 40 bucks a month for a link.....

The cheapest I have ever taken links at is $50. Not sitewide links, just a homepage link.

Hey guys,

Me again. I've asked their support all the details and am happy to share them.. I was confused in the beginning too. The way it works is:

You have a referral link, someone signs up. Now, nothing happens until they place the TLA JavaScript code on their page. Once the code is on their site for 7 days, you get $25. They don't need to have any links purchased from their site, only that the JS code is inserted in their HTML for 7 days.

But how did I earned $25 from a referral a few hours after I signed up?
