I know there is a limit on friend requests, but is there a limit on messages you can send out to people you don't know.

I'm not sure. The most messages I've sent out at a time was around 458. I don't message much anymore, only bulletins and comments now :P

Be careful sending messages since you could get sued for spamming myspace. Each messgae will cost you $50 according to the myspace TOS>

I've used messages and bulletins, and had varying results from each. With messages people tend to be a little more harsh on calling out the spam, so I don't do them as much as bulletins. With that said, bulletins get less response, good or bad.

Comments can work wonders though and I've got a lot of traffic from some good commenting.

Yeah comments also work pretty good. I know a famous band that allows HTML, and I get so much visits from comment posting on that space. It's a secret though ^_^
