I own a Get-Paid-To site (CashNinjas) - I've been up since April '07. I really, really want to start getting more traffic.. I know most of the ways to do it, like affiliating, link exchanging, etc.. But is there any specific / certain / secret etc thing that i'm missing? I know I could be gaining more traffic - but how? How do you big earners start your sites out, and how do you get like.. 10,000+ members and whatnot?

I am in the process of setting up a new site (new idea) and I think putting ads in the National Newspapers advertising the site may bring in my customers. Has anyone any ideas about this?

I didn't monetize yet my site...but if I would do what would you recommend me?

It's a niche site about web software (reviews+tutorials and news)...started in Feb 2008 and has over 5000 uniques/month so far (and rising) and PR3...

The niche is quite narrow so that means probably I won't have overnight growth...

How would you monetize this site at this stage?
(I know, bringing more visitors doesn't hurt but I want to know at this stage what can be done to monetize it...i have few ideas but I want to see if you are thinking at what I'm thinking)
