I'm looking to design my own designs and get a company such as cafepress to help me host and sell it. Which site would you guys recommend? Take into consideration the ease of use and the lesser comission they charge the better.

I don't know about specific companies, but if you have any questions about the screen printing process and designing for it, I may be of help. As a graphic communications major, I have personally designed and screen printed t-shirts in my lab. You can PM me or reach me on AIM.

BTW, I just priced a 6 color design ordering 100 shirts and it ended up being around $10 a piece.

I have one of their shirts from a Sitepoint.com order and it's a nice shirt. Not sure if they do full color or not though.

Thank you very much - I'm about to hold a event for one of my sites. T-Shirts and hats will be very nice to have at the event!

CafePress's shirts are VERY low quality. They're basically nothing more than iron-on transfers.

Yea, totally agree. Also, they sent a "FREE" I support gay marriage sticker with every order and it made my website look like it came from me.

I will never use them again.

Must agree also. I bought one shirt and quality was poor! Never will use 'em again.

If you start a shirt company make sure you get good quality.

I was going to start a new thread, but this seems like as good a place as any to ask my Q.

Anywhere around online that will print onto BLACK ZIP UP hoodies? Thanks.

Just a plug on my day job company...

We do t-shirts and other gifts merchandise. If you are doing t-shirts in quantity (80-100), send me a PM or email. I can also send you sample to show our quality.

We do mainly local business but I'm interested to partner some of you guys and expand our international and internet market.

Interested to see how this work out.
