i've been with paypal for like 4 years now, have always kept a balance, and have never had an issue with frozen funds. i don't deal with scammers who request paybacks a day later.

None. I NEVER keep any money in PayPal. It's withdrawn the second it gets in there.

Only 937.34 -- I recently made a withdrawal. I don't much trust large sums of money in Paypal, what with all the account freezing I've heard that's going on.

I immediately withdraw almost all of my money from paypal whenever a deposit is made. I don't like the amount of control they exercise over your money. I once sold a domain for $400 and the person I sold it to couldn't figure out how to accept the transfer. So he called Paypal and lied to them, saying that I was refusing to answer his emails and that I was ripping him off. Even though paypal does not insure sale of intangible digital items, they still froze my account for several days. I'd rather keep my loot in the mattress.
