after deleting 3 of my accounts, I think I'm suicidal...
how is the site so successful? its been really buggy ever since I started using it, nothing ever works, and it does so well...

i just read this on wikipedia
"On July 28, 2006, the MySpace servers appear to be down again. After logging in, users (at least the ones viewing the site through the Opera_(web_browser)) were greeted with the message "No authority could be contacted for authentication." Others were greeted with the Invalid ID message, saying that their account has either been cancelled or deleted."
so maybe this is a false alarm... I HATE MYSPACE!!!

Yeah it's just another MySpace bug.
I managed to login on one of my accounts and when browsing around I noticed an abnormal amount of invalid friend ID messages.
It keeps amazing me how buggy Myspace is. Since July 25 I'm not able to add any friends at all, accepting friend requests doesn't work anymore, the site goes down the whole time, ...
They really need invest some money to improve Myspace's stability and performance.

I think MySpace should hate you.
Seriously, people use bots and violate the TOS of MySpace, they flood it's users with promotional messages and expect MySpace to sit on the side, watching the spam getting in.
I'm not saying i don't do it or don't intend to do it, but i don't expect MySpace to send me chocolate chips if they found out.

I agree, they should hate us. But, this is the internet, SPAM is a part of it. SPAM has been a part of myspace since its inception, it will always be. There's no real good way to make a free site and avoid people trying to capitalize off of that. The harder they make it for us to spam, the harder that will make it for users to send simple messages to each other.
We have them by the balls, so to speak. |

One of mine was deleted this morning but another was fine. Weird.
Are you guys confirming your accounts through the email they send you?
I know you can sign in right away with out confirming but maybe they delete your account after a few days if its not confirmed. Thoughts?

I just went on to a "friends" page and it lists me being online, so my account still exists, check your own accounts by looking at your friends, "friends" list. Bloody hell what a rubbish sentance, sorry, in a rush.

i thought i got deleted today. i added a bunch of friends and left a message at the same time promoting my website. I got a message that i had exceeded my limit for the amount of emails i could send. I only sent 150 last night and 175 the night before. Maybe it was less than 24 hours or something. I didnt get an email saying i got banned , but i just tried to login and it wouldnt work. My other accounts work though

yea myspace sux, just my luck since yesterday i relaunched my site - http://www.spacedoggy.com
so far the results have been awesome, my ctr went up more then 5x and ecpm went up as much as 4-5x
