I have tried a few scripts for mailing lists, but what kind of lists are you looking to run?
Do you want a discussion list or a one way, you send out mailings kind of list?
There are several scripts out at the moment for mailing newsletters etc. I sell 2 of them from my site thediscountebookstore.com, but they can cause problems to your host if the list gets too big.
Why wouldn't an autoresponder service do like getresponse as mentioned above?
