An adsense guru is teaching this strategy:

Build several sites with good keywords and good content, then build a feeder site, (blog) which will contain several links to these sites. Promote this feeder site like crazy.

Is this a good strategy?

Yes, it's a pretty good. It's similiar to the use your big site to push traffic to your little site strategy which works quite well.

I am planning the reverse.

Build a forum site. Build a ton of small feeder content sites to the forum site. Promote the little sites each a bit.

Yeah, it is a pretty good idea.

But those blogs need to be popularized quickly.

Yeah I am also doing the opposite, but when all of my sites get around 100 uniques a day I will have a link to every site from every site so that they support each other.

The fact that blogging is becoming more&more captivating than websites makes it(promoting a feeder blog linked to sites)a better
strategy than using the opposite.

It's not a good strategy.

I guess the theory is

1. You promote the blog and it's gets a lot of traffic.
2. A % of visitors will click on the links to your sub-sites.
3. A % of those visitors will click on those adds.

Too many clicks before you get revenue, or am I missing something ?

That strategy has been used since 2002 and is way oversaturated. Most feedster sites are overwhelmed with pings and requests. Too much content on the net today. Too many people trying to syndcate.

I believe it is a good strategy. ArticleUnderground.com of which I am a member use the same strategy. You get 400 keyword rich articles a month that you can use on your website. You can then promote this articles via an announcement blog with links back to your site. It works wonders.

I concure, this is a good strategy, though you will hear mixed reviews of it. I am starting to see it done with the Fortune 500 sites too.

all ways work .. i know few peoples who just keep adding content to there blog and do nothing extra and it works fine too
