Maybe some sort of revenue sharing system? Then again, you would loose out there as well.

Forums need either very high traffic with CPC programs or find a good niche CPM network.

I get a really high CTR on my forum (for a forum). The biggest difference was using images above adsense

Maybe you will want to re-think that. Read this article about the owner of DigitalPoint Forums who makes a ton of money of adsense and he uses revenue sharing with his users.

Non of my members have adsense. I think it only works on a web master type forum hehe

Sorry. I worded that wrong. What are ways to improve CTR other than revenue sharing, espeically when the forum is non-webmaster related?

I'd say ad placement.

Blending would be a great way to boost it
