Ok folks, here's the problem...

I run a site, www.tattoofont.net which allows you to input text and see what it looks like in a number of fonts, colours and sizes. You can then download or print the image and download the font.

There is only one other site like it. With little marketing ( link exchanges - you will see the banners at the footer of the site), like an hour, I managed to get approx 1493 uniques and totalled 42,439 hits.

Although the site is not costing me much to run (I have a resellers account), I'd like to get some paid advertisers on the site. I am currently running adsense, and have tried all the available ad formats, but it doesn't bring in much.

The site ranks No1 in Google under "TattooFont" and No10 under "Tattoo Font". The keyword term "tattoo font" is highly searched with minimum competitors.

My questions (finally):

1. Do you think I should contact tatoo supplier stores and offer them ad placement?
2. Where could I sell text link and/or banner adverts for this niche?
3. Do you have any other suggestions for monetizing the site more?

OK just a few questions.

Why are you marketing it as a tattoo resource? Please correct me is I am wrong but do you really have to market your script as a resource just for tattoo-ists.

tattoo magazines, tattoo conventions, BME or IAM (google it), Suicide Girls, etc

Luke - not got your PM yet, looking forward to it. I originally created the site aimed at the tattoo market as the keyword was a niche and that is also where the idea came from.

Also, I personally would be a lot more likely to use the site if the font list was redesigned. Instead of using a list box, why not have each font name written in the actual font (as an image) with a radio button next to each?
