Like a lot of you, I live in America. I was wondering if building a poker site and putting poker affiliate banners (like party poker of ultimate bet) on your site is legal? I read on sitepoint that poker affiliates can not target US customers..

How will they know if you are targeting US customers? Does anyone here living in the US have a poker site with affiliates on it? Are there any measures you have to take to ensure US visitors don't click affiliate links?

What's the deal?

The answer would really depend on what state in America you live in - state laws vary regarding online poker. If you live in Washington, I would say don't do it. As to any other state, you'd need to check the laws yourself. Be careful, but remember your right to free speech.
