Do you guys get on the profile and actually respond to messages that you receive from various users? Have you ever attempted to try to be as real as possible? And then wait until you've kinda made some sort of friendship even though it might not be real and then start the advertising?

nope. In my experience its a game of numbers. Instead of spending time making relationships i would prefer to get a robot to add another 100 people, in the hopes that 40 of those will read the bulliten and 5 will provide me with a lead and afiliate commision

Same for me. I dont know what an emo is and I dont care. Nor do I like rap music very much either.

I personally take the time to write back... Its usually the same message modified a line or two, but it works 90% of the time.

I do it for two reasons. First, it gets people to add you! If you respond thats yet another friend to be added and in turn another marketing oportunity. Second, I would imagine that it makes your account look much better in the eyes of Myspace. It would seem that you are a legit account instead of a person with an adder robot! =)
