Where is a great place to back order domains? So far I've only dabbled in snapnames and godaddy. Surely there's better deals elsewhere? :helpsmilie:

hitz, not only that, you should try to submit a back order with every registrar you can. You never know who'll actually get it.

Oh, have you tried pool.com?

Does back-ordering still work? what with the whole 'grace period' thing they introduced.

Backordering is stupid. If the domain is of any value there will already be a bunch of backorders and you will have wasted your money.

I'm in Thailand btw, there isn't too much competition around domain names on the niches around here.

Pool and Snapnames are the two biggest drop catchers. Where a dropped domain goes depends on the registrar it was once registered at. For example, Snapnames has deals with Network Solutions and some other large registrars so that it gets first dibs on expiring domains.

Preferably I use Snapnames.
