I lost my job a couple of weeks ago, and the prospects of finding a new one haven't been looking so hot especially seeing as how it's August.

I have a dozen websites, but with a total traffic of only about 600 per day currently, and I'm not making any money off of them.

Do I have a shot at making enough money online to pay my bills? If so, what do you recommend? Affiliate marketing? Growing my current sites and slapping adsense on them? Thoughts?

Showing us you sites will help.

Affiliate marketing isn't the best way to generate money on most websites, honestly it varies what type of money making is best for each website.

Work on link building and your traffic should grow (including traffic from search engines).

Here are the sites I currently have (remove all underscores):
radre_search.com
anonymous_ex.com (adult site)
shi_g(dot)o_dani(dot)com
local_marketin_gguide.com

The first 3 have about 200 visitors a day currently. The last one, I'm currently developing and hoping to making a decent community site out of.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Running low on rent money.

None of your sites are loading, not sure I am typing the addresses in right. Type the addresses into the body of your post and then use the link button on the toolbar to paste the real address into body so that when we click on the link it will take us to your sites.

For the urls to work you got to leave out the _'s. He can't post urls yet.
Btw eggman you should blend your ads in a lot better. You certainly won't be able to make a living off those 200 visitors but it'll definitely help.

By 'blend' do you mean trying to make them appear like they're not ads? By the way, between these sites, I have a total of about 600 (not that that really makes much difference)

Google does not allow porn or erotic sites. What about trying to sell sex shop articles?

Ide atleast try finding a part time job for now. Its gonna do no good if you try making these sties better in a rush! good luck

Take your time and invest time 2 get better in making money online. Do not rush. It only will get whorse and frustrating. I do not think all the internet gurus got paid a million dollars the first years they invested on the internet.

I also recommend part time job. If you have the right audience, then text link ads might be profitable way for you to earn some additional $$$.

I also advice that you find a job, but monetization will take you a while to get started. And even worse to get to the level of pay bills

Your situation calls for intensifying your efforts in terms of job hunting&the application of serious online strategies that pay.How about having multiple streams of income online?

I would recommend you to join name parking which might make you some easy money while you are still looking for a job and learning about adsense.
