Patience is the key. I started up in January of this year. In the first 7 days, I made money one day. I started with about $20 in my account from various other ventures, and it took me until June to hit the $100 payout threshold. It was a long six months, but hitting that $100 was worth it. Here we are in August and I am about $25 away from meeting the $100 payout.

So I went from a payout every six months to a payout every two (hopefully). My goal is to hit $100/month by December and then maintain it (and grow it of course). Then I can qualify for the nice grey bar under my name.

My best piece of advice, something that has helped increase my earnings in the last three months is Google Search. Add the search box to your site. At least half my earnings the past two months have come from searches.

Well, I waited over two months, back when I started in blogger. :P
I remmeber it was around 0.05 cents :P. Still it was worthy, it openes new possibilities to me.

Take it easy capitalist it takes time to make a internet business start earning, its like other business, you have to work hard from the beggining.And it is good that you have set up goals for you, stick to it and it will come.

Care to share why do you focus just on adsense? Why not combine them with affiliate links? It will definitely turn those cents into dollars...:drool:

You guys are very helpful. Great information. I've heard from several different sources that patience is above all the hardest thing to do with this business. I haven't made anything yet but will not give up. It is a mission now -- Determined. Thanks for the encouraging words....it definitely helps!

I have already made 100 in my first month~ it will come, just keep studing the EF site for ways to get indexed and seo.

I can launch a site on monday, promote it the same day and by next monday be making $70+ a day on it with Adsense and yahoo publisher.

How are you able to generate that kind of revenue in one week? I'd be curious to hear what you're doing that I'm obviously not.

I have affiliate links too but nobody was using them until today. I made $2.20 so far this morning from them though. Oh and I made a whole 3 cents yesterday from adsense. That is 17 cents from adsense this month and 2.20 from affliliates.

I am still toying with affilate links. Havent used them alot (some but not much) and havent seen any from them yet. But I am moving in that direction.
