Hey,

As some of you may know I run a few websites that require the user to fill in most of there personal information.. First Name, Last Name, Email, Address, City, State/Prov, Zip/Postal Codes, Country, Gender and Age..

Before they sign up they have an option to check a box that enables them to "receive promotional emails from us and/or third-parties."

I have a big list of people who have agreed to this so my question is, How the HELL do I make money from this?

Is the only thing I can do is send them spam emails with offers in them hoping they take action or what?

I know on most of the Affiliate websites like, azoogle and hydra there are TONS of offers that pay out on just email submission or zip/postal code submission.. Is there anything I can do with these..

I would apperciate some help from people who have experience with this.. Also feel free to send me a PM if you want..

Thanks,

MisurA

That's simple. If you did not steal this base from someone, then you know on WHAT sites you've been gathering the personal data. Most probably they gave you this data because wanted to receive something from you (course, offer, information, discount - whatever). Think what else they might need and would love to get and make them irresistable offer in this niche.

No one will accuse you of spamming as THEY gave YOU this info. If you have not cheated them with what they were waiting for, they will be glad to get a good offer from you in this niche.

For example, I gather the base on one of my sites, it gives 7 day Forex trader course. Then I can send these people good trading signal service or offer a good forex broker. Those who want to trade on forex will love to find a great broker and/or good signals to put some of the trading burden from their shoulders. This is how I do.

And this is not spam. THEY submitted the web form on my site volunory, I was not standing with the gun at their head when they were doing it. If I send them junk, they just unsubscribe.

So, don't see any problem with you monetizing the list. If you got it legally, don't worry. Find a good offer and give 'em. Good luck!!

How can I get sued if the user agreed to recieve offers? They would check a box that states the following in cause you didn't even READ my first post..

Before they sign up they have an option to check a box that enables them to "receive promotional emails from us and/or third-parties."

Thanks for the reply freetraff!

Is this the only option I have?

Simple answer: Unionisnotdead is a moron and likes to spam and cut people down. You will not get sued if somone opts in knowingly. If they chose to sign up for it then it is legal.

You will not get sued as long as you follow the CAN-SPAM Act.

A list of what you need to include in each email is located here :

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/canspam.htm

Additional rules may apply.

It depends on how you got the information, did the people sign up for it like a mailing list or did you get it from them just by selling something? I would be very cautious when doing anything with people's information because a lot of things could happen to you if the person got upset and you didn't have them checkmark a TOS or something, lol. I wouldn't want spam though in any form (email, mail, etc).

No, this cannot be done. The people on Azoogle are paying $1.50 for qualified leads; this means people who are actually interested in recieving a free sidekick, playstation 3, or whatever is being offered for free. I can bet you that at least 60% of the people on your list are not interested in these offers. The advertiser wouldnt be too hapy to pay $1.50 for people who arent interested in their offers in the first place (if they found out, of course).

Because of the nature of their offer (email submit), you can bet they will be monitoring IP addresses to make sure an affiliate isnt just putting multiple email addresses to gain more money. (they could consider this fraud)

The most you could do is actually email these offers to your mailing list, hoping some of them sign up.

This is probaby your best bet because whether or not most of your list will be interested in a free sidekick, they might be curious as to just click the link and see what "this offer" is all about. Of course it's 1/3 the pay of an email submit, but you might exceed what you would have made getting paid $1.50 for each user that goes the extra step to clicking and enters their email.

So what category are these "paided per click" offers under?
