Newbie question - I purchased a domain (randomly) and I added it to a parking account at NameDrive. However, I found out you can only earn legitimately from organic traffic (type ins and search engines).
How can I earn if search engines won't index the site because it's parked with no content?
Does anyone have any experience in this field?
After speaking with someone on Digital Point Forums, he told me that only typo domain names e.g. myspce dot com earn as they are direct type ins.

Thanks in advance.
Type-ins account for a low-to-mid-teens percentage of search traffic. But you'd better have a good generic .com if you want to make any good money off it. Typos work too, until you get a C&D. You can also buy expiring domains that have a lot of inbound links.

The rule applies to Sedo as well. I use both Sedo and Namedrive and the other day Sedo management complained about one of my domains that had a lot of inbound links. They thought I was still doing a lot of linking on it.
Your best be might be to develop the site an add content to it.
You are 100% able to get AdSense income from parked domains, as long as you are with an authorized AdSense domain park, like Sedo. Google has a special program for parked domains
