I was just wondering what everyone here thinks about text-link-ads?
I have heard good and bad stuff about them, please let me know! Thank you!

I personally love them, I am not really into selling links more so into buying them. Have bought few with them, the process is most enjoyable, you even get your own Account Manager. What more could you ask for

No as I said, I have not tried selling links with them. I have just bought links with them, but if the process and everything is the same as buying I will start selling soon

TLA has worked wonderfully for me - I use all 3 ways to make money with them:
- publisher affiliates
- client affiliates
- selling links

They pay you promptly (and I like how they use PayPal to do that). Nothing to complain, very fine program. If you have a website targeted to people who might benefit from it, then give it a go.

I have never used them but I have heard only good things.. the main reason why I haven't used them is because they take a 50% commision. I know they do a lot of the work for you... but I still think a 50/50 split is a bit to much.

True, they take 50% - but they also have bit higher prices and you get a good affiliate income ($25 per publisher/client) when you refer other people to become publishers or clients.

I heard good things about them and signed up to sell links. I eventually will buy links but right now I wanted to sell them. They denied all my sites and gave me three vague reasons. I emailed them back asking specifically why for one particular site and I never got a response back. I asked about my best site which yes is only six months old but it has a PR of 4 and gets 300-1000 visits per day. This was months ago and still nothing. I was very disappointed at the lack of response. It makes me not want to use their program at all.

txt link ads are text links

I was going to buy some links from them, but many of the sites don't list their URL, so it seemed silly to me to just buy a link on a site that I really know nothing about.

When I sent an email asking if I could find out the URL of the site my link was placed on, I never received an answer.

you NEED PR to rank in GOOOOGLE and YAHOOOOO

Hi All,

I signed up for TLA today. PR 5 site, Alexa 93k, and was accepted instantly.
10 minutes later I had their link code on my site and a small banner.

So I assume (love that word...*** U Me) that they do a quick scan
of your site to see if it meets their criteria.
