I signed up with Azoogle at the start of the year but never served any ads.

I decided last week I would try it out on my largest forum.

I put an ad for an new auto quote into rotation. There were no stipulations on what State the lead had to be from, nothing at all. Ad said the lead fills out the form and you get a lead registered to your account. Simple.

A couple days go by, lots of clicks but no leads so I ask my members did anyone fill out the form.

A trusted member responded indeed they did. They clicked the link, filled out the form and in fact had been contacted by various dealerships in their area from the form data. He forwarded me all the e-mails he was sent so I could verify.

I contacted Azoogle and asked why a lead wasen't registered to my account when it fact this user had did everything that was needed for me to get the money for the lead. I was told to "prove my case" by sending in everything I had.

I declined doing so and stopped serving the ads. If this lead didn't register for this and that reason even though everything was done correct and auto dealerships are contacting him what trust do I have other leads will register?

It seems everyone on here loves Azoogle and I'm in no way trying to discredit them but that is my experience with Azoogle, take from it what you want, if anything.

That's interesting, surprising since I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. I'm still in the process of verifying my information with them so I will see how it goes.

The reason azoogle is asking you to prove it is they don't want to just credit everyone that comes and says my lead didn't register. It has happened where a lead didn't register ususally not your fault or Azoogles but the client not sending back the proper info weather a pixel or whatever. or it could have been a glitch in either system. Unfortunately it does happen with all networks form time to time but if people prove it to Azoogle or the other networks if it is more than a onetime deal they usually remove their offers as you not getting paid for you legit leads doesn't do azoogle good or you only person benefits is the end client.

You have to be skeptical of any system that makes your prove what happened.

The problem with this is as a publisher I have NO IDEA unless I post a community wide message what leads might have failed to register. Your putting your blind faith in the ad company and so you need to trust your ad companies system. Knowing that solid leads don't register for some reason makes me uneasy with serving more ads.

Just to note again I am in way trying to prevent people from signing up with Azoogle. This could have been an anonomly, I just wanted to report my experience somewhere as I'm not a blogger.

I agree you need to trust the system... what is happening the networks are starting to put more of the burden on the publisher as people are tired of paying for crap leads.... I have a feeling it will only get harder for us publishers as soon we may have to prove our traffic sources demographics etc..

I'm in kind of the same situation, I've sent thousands of clicks over to AzoogleAds, using one of the programs where you have to fill out a form for a chance to win an xbox, not even one click converted. My site is oriented towards teens, so I really don't know why none of the clicks is converting. I don't think I'd want to ask my users if they're clicking on the ads either..

sometimes the teen traffic doesn't convert because they have seen the ad or already signed up for it before. sometimes this is the case with easy signup offer that have been around for a while.
