I use a few ways to monetize my websites:

- AdSense
- Clickbank
- CJ/ AzoogleAds
- text-link-ads
- chitika
- adbrite
- valueclick

But 90% comes from adsense. Could anyone share their income in % by revenue source?

Well I think it depends on your site... for some of our portfolio comapnies they make most of their revenue by selling advertising directly.

If you are able to do it, that is the best way and will generate the most revenue.

I've been using Amazon for a while, but I'm thinking of scrapping them. I've had no sales, barely any clicks and even with their new Omakase smart panels, there's still very little interest.

I don't like spreading too much monetization over a single site. It soon becomes clear to visitors that the site has little content and I'm just trying to get them to leave through one of my paid links. I would say 3 sources for any site is usually enough. Pick the best three, then one shouldn't need any more.

That said, I use RevenuePilot for ads, Amazon for books and various independant affiliations for product reviews. RP provides 80% so far

My site is an information site. So far, these work for me:

- Google Adsense, 80%
- Lead CPAs, 20%

While these ones don't:

- Amazon and other pay-per-sale offers (revenue's too small)
- Chitika (CTR's too small, looks ugly)
- Freebie offers (0 / zero / nada / nil / zip)

Chitika : 0% : Neat looking ads, but even on my very targeted website generated 0 clicks. I stopped promoting them.

AdSense : 10% : Did some arbitrage back in the day (lol), now just a little here and they for people that don't bite at my primary offer.

ClickBank : 20% : - Good, but watch out for the leaks.

CJ : 0% : - I got a couple checks from them, but stopped promoting in favor of other programs.

Never tried the others you mentioned.

Take Care,

Michael

The bulk of my income (70%) comes from:
1) Info Products I create myself.
2) Info Products I have created for me by a ghostwriter.
3) Info Products I own Master Resell or Resell rights to.
