Ever heard of emphyteusis? It's a fancy legal word to denote long term lease. Developer gets to use land for 10-100 years, after which the owner takes over what's been developed. Developer MUST make improvements.

I'm offering something similar:
use my domains, and hosting. build up a site and profit for 1-2 years. I'll pay dn renewal. occasional seo advice can be given to help you out.
Only rules are
1) no generic type of site, e.g. myspace profile, myspace resource, arcade, file host.
2) no blackhat seo. If you get the domain banned from google, yahoo, msn or another engine and you've bought the DN, kiddo.

Interesting idea but I think if I was going to take the time to make a new site especially one that is not generic like a myspace help site, I would just spend the 8 bucks and have the income as long as I want.

It makes sense ofr realestate though. A person with very little capital could start earning an income and then the original owner will have an income set up for him a few years off.

Unless somebody has a killer domain name that already receives a bunch of traffic, what would entice someone to do this.

Funny point about the nastiest topic you ever heard of LOL. I agree. People search for that though, so..

As to why people would do it, I;d say in order to get my help learning SEO, kind of like mentoring.

Well if you can really help them with SEO that is good.. but my impression is that people who would be doing this sort of think would already be fairly knowledgeable on the subject.

My mother taught me that if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything. Which is more of an issue to me for Rob, because WWuser's criticism doesn't bother me since he has a history of negative posts and talking a lot.

What I don't understand how you can call yourself an "SEO champ" or run a so-called SEO company yet only make $100 a month online. Please fill me in.

Twas not intended as a reflection on your idea, worm -- sorry if it came across that way. It was the discussion of that one certain domain name while eating my breakfast this morning.
