Invalid Clicks are quite natural, but you should alway report it back to Google.

I saw this in my stats today and I reported to Google:

Page impressions=0
Clicks=5
Page CTR=0.00%
Page eCPM [?]=0.00
Earnings=$6.30

Can just be that you report odd spikes in CTR too, as potential invalid activity. I've used the form a bunch of times.

What bugs me is why can't google just detect all this sort of stuff themselves? They already know what flavour of toothpaste we like the best.. why can't they tell which clicks are dupes?

Yes i am considering starting to track this as i have heard of many people submitting these forms for invalids clicks and got the credits.

They can and do detect it but my guess is that if you detect it yourself and report it, it will at least decrease the risk of you being banned for it.

But why should we have to?

I use RevenuePilot since I was banned (unfairly I might add) from Google.. and they automatically detect and discount invalid clicks - and better yet, I can see all the click info right there: IP address, country, time, ad they clicked on etc.

Google sees repetetive clicks and gets out the ban stamp..
