I e-mailed them to find out about the nofollow tag and got such stupid one lined response: "We don't regulate how bloggers link."
Now I understand that, but whats the point of accepting someone's money to do a review and then put a nofollow on the link? This service is basically a way of buying links on other's blogs... would you pay for a nofollow link? Thats just unethical.

No, the use is not the same as when you are buying a link. They want you to review a product and not to set a link. I usually set links because I think it's worth it. The intention is to get the product sold.

True, but if you set a link because you think its worth it, would you put a nofollow tag on that link? I feel it is buying a link in a way because there are many sites out there that will review a product for free. With Review me you're paying between $40-$400 (only 50% going to the blogger) for the review which would odviously include a link. For that much cash I'd expect a decent link even if the review is negative.
I may think this service has its down falls but i guess if your blog gets accepted then you could make a ton of cash. I could be wrong though... still have to mean someone who's done this (from either side of the fence)
