I've tinkered with placement, and this is the best performing so far. But I'd love to hear some ideas from you guys on my placement. I'll also be giving the site a MAJOR overhaul and launching some serious offline promotion in the new year, seeing as it is a local entertainment site.
You'll probably have to test different placements and templates further to see what works best. You can get great ideas from othere here, but your own testing will proof to be the best method.
Put one right below your logo. And put one in every post. I think there's an adsense advertiser profile plugin where you can have it automatically reply with an adsense block to every thread.
