I have a PR5 site just sitting around with no current practical use. It used to be an image hosting site, then it changed to a random video clip blog but that only lasted about a week. Right now it is still a PR 5 but has practically no traffic. Would it be profitable to set up a paid directory? Since it is a PR5 would people pay for links? The domain is pretty generic so it could be anything: www.7ypo.com
Based on your current pagerank, you can sell some text links at min. $5/mth. Some people even ready to pay for as high as $10 to $20 for a link on PR5 page.
True, but the original post does say he gets no traffic... so even at PR5, it's kind of worthless. If I were you, as soon as I figured out what to do with a PR5 domain, I'd do everything in my power to pump some traffic into it and THEN sell links for mad money
