Anyone use paypal pro https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...erview-outside

To sell items on their site? It allows you to accept credit cards directly on your site for $20 a month.

Anyone had good or bad experiences with it?

I don't trust paypal at all and avoid using them whenever possible.

I don't use PayPal Pro. I just upgraded to Business and i'm good with that. There's no need for anything more. All I need is a place to accept online transactions and such.

I have an account with paypal, but I have't tried paypal pro.

Been using paypal for past 4 years. Never had a problem.
Had pro account for 2 years, and recently upgraded to business account.

20 usd is not so bad comparing with the prices of many of the merchant accounts out there.

I have a question, for this 20 a month, do they still take out as much when money is sent ?

This is the first time I hear about paypal pro. I have a merchant account from authorize.net and that allows me to accept credit card payments.
If I did not have this, I would probably try paypal pro.

You can accept CC with the standard version. You just don't get the virtual terminal.
