i'd make (are you ready for it) ....a Youtube mirror.

yup, all those vids that youtube censors or removes, as well as all the ones they dont, will get sucked up into my mirror that NEVER censors anything ever.

of course it'd be hosted in some foreign country and part of the hosting package says i pay them big bucks and they keep my servers safe. also part of the hosting package is adequate bandwidth and high speeds. but thats cool, since hosting is free for a year.

Great idea! I can get a domain for $8 but I'm not sure about the money for the VPS. Er, I mean Dedicated server. Nvm, I meant Datacenter. Actually, It should be Hosting Company. Well... :-P

well in that case... i'd go quickly make fan pages for all of the american idol contestants (or at least 4 or 5 of them that you think might go pretty far. preferably the good looking ones).

and i'd use that one hosting account along with domain forwarding to host fan pages for all of them under different domain names. use some generic (free) forum for some fan discussion, add whatever pics, youtube vids, or sound clips you can find, and then slap some ads up there.

p.s. i never did this before. but it seems like a pretty cool experiment. and there is minimal effort involved-- might even be fun if u follow the show.

if i didnt have a project to work on already i might've even given it a shot myself.

EDIT: on second thought, perhaps i should've kept this idea to myself. lol

If you can write, then open a blog in an area you are interested and write as much as quality posts as you can.

I was very seriously considering doing this several seasons ago but I wan't sure of the legality, like if the artists or the producers of american idol could sue you for using there persons name in the domain name or content like pictures of them.

last season, taylor had a pretty big fan site. so did that cute blonde chick.

i dont think the studios mind that much since it's kinda like free promotion.

either way, there is risk in every venture. and makin money without initially taking risk is hard to do.

create a site that has nothing on it but a huge stock like ticker with floating across the center, showing multiple countries with their deficets going and down cnbc style... lol...

with ads on top and one unit on bottom...

ANyone with skills to code such a site let me know... lol... it would be as big as "the end of the world"
