Hi, I have an automotive website that is now just currently a domain, its a very good domain, brandable and related to the industry, plus ive done a lot of SEO and its getting more SE Traffic by the day, only just now have i really decided to scrap what i had (an inactive forum) and am looking into how to best modify the site

Its getting traffic for automotive modification style searches, and im wondering what you would put on the site. Something like a car parts website with dropshipping, or reviewing other websites and linking to them like an affiliate? Would like something that is a pretty simple process, even if its time consuming..ideas welcome

I would say adsense or an affiliate program. I am a member of shareasale.com they have a huge selection of automotive offers with pretty good commisions.

If it's an auto repair/mod type site you could sell 'how to' books and videos through affiliate links. You could easily sell parts and accessories too either as an affiliate or go through a drop shipper.

I found adsense and tribalfusion (CPM) very good. You can try link sales too. But all these require you to have an established and old site to earn enough. I dont think there any way to earn from a website if it is not PR5 and/or has good traffic.

Adsense is a definitely a way to earn more. Regarding your forum I think you can reactivate it and you have a good chance to earn from it. I feel you can consider the services of a professional company who will help in keeping the forum active.

I agree with that. I run an auto website, tried a lot of stuff, but its 10-12,000 uniques per month do not generate much affiliate income.
