All,

I recently blogged about how to google for rapidshare links and this appears to have brought quite alot of traffic to that posting looking for information.

I decided to make a page of links to rapidshare downloads based on RSS feeds that people could search and subscribe to etc.

The page was also my first outing into using PHP too - so it was also a personal development opportunity.

I have also put adsense on the page and have had a few clicks so far - which is nice.

I was wondering if someone could advise on maybe the best place to set ads on this page? The page is more of a "set and forget" type page that may not be updated regularly with original content, although the page itself is dynamic.

And i know that this is not "the right way" to earn from this kind of thing, but this was just one of my ideas - and the smallest of them too, so I just banged it out. Hence the design is still not complete either!

Anyway, any advice on PPC ad placement would be great.

Thanks.

I would change colors of the ads to be the same color as all the links.

This way they will read the ad without knowing they are reading an ad. Of course they will only click if they find it interesting.

I would also change the links style settings so that they are always the same color. (blue)
