Make sure your keyword is in the ad, A/B test different calls to action, if it's a local term then get listed with google local, improve the quality score of your landing page, etc. Test, test, test, and test some more. Personally I'd rather have fewer clicks but get visitors who convert at a higher rate. It's possible to get the best of both worlds, but it takes a certain amount of trail and error.

i have helped alot of people out there with this

you need to give some good titles and make it sound really tantilizing for them to click....you can give reinforcers as well by including price...

try to fit at least two benefits in your short desciption.

also it is proven that when advertising your website if you include your address as http://NaturalHealthProduct.com will pull more people in than http://www.naturalhealthproduct.com

make your titles descriptive and use words like free or free report free trial that is a sure winner and will help the ctr

hope this helps.

Good points there.

l also feel that including the price will be better in terms of conversion. I would like to get fewer clicks with higher conversion also

The best strategy is to spend 10 minutes writing 1 ad and get 6, instead of spending 60 minutes writing one and trying to get the perfect ad before even testing. Go through tons and tons of ads until you find which ones get the highest CTR, find out what's unique about them, then try to improve on them.

ShoeMoney suggests forming your ads into a kind of arrow shape:
Code:
Title Goes Here
First Line Goes Here
Second Line Here
www.url.co.uk
Which somehow improves CTR from his tests. I've got a couple
running in arrow shapes at the moment, but I can't seem to get
any darned impressions!
