Hey guys, whats new? I acquired a video game related site based on around a pretty popular mmorpg and now that I got some stuff cleared out of the way its time to start monetizing it.

If your making money off a video game related forum, I'd like to take a look at your site to see how your ads are laid out. If you have any specific tips or tricks that have worked well for you, I'd love to hear that as well.

You could try Google AdSense and AdBrite.

I used to promote Video Game stuff. Collect email addresses and blast CPL offers at them. AdSense got some income, but I could never get any other offer to convert.

I think Adsense would be good.

You could write articles about upcoming games, and insert affiliate links for that game. I think Amazon is the only way to do that. Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm kinda sick of the 4% Amazon offers.

****...I just read my friend Ryan Chua's ebook on Forum Secrets Revealed and he have a whole section on monetizing forums. He even did an interview with Anthony Burian the owner of HCRealms, WoWRealms and VSRealms (some popular gaming forums) which will help you alot with your question.

I wish I could recommend you to Ryan's ebook but he still have not launch it yet. He is currently looking for JV partners to promote his ebook.
