I'm managing a niche motorcycle community and we're getting a lot of interest from advertisers. My problem is that my web advertising experience consists only of AdSense so I don't know what to charge. Are there any rough guidelines out there that would help me determine what's fair?

Theres no real formula, just testing different rates until you find whats right for you. You want it to be hard to sell all your spots but still have them all sell out. Its probably better to start lower than higher too.

If your traffic is almost completely US-based, you should charge $X.00 CPM for motorcycle-related ads; ~$1 for general interest advertising.
