Just curious from other Amazon affiliates...do you have better luck (ie. higher revenue) from having a cart functionality with your affiliate stores or just having every item show a "Buy Now from Amazon"?

I'm not quite sure if I understand the question fully. I recently set up an aStore at the later part of last year. I fully recommend those. The commission isn't that great, but if you're selling lots of volume as I was with higher price items, it can add up quick. In the month of December (only the half of the month really...I started the aStore on the 13th or 14th of December) I raked in about $20,000 in sales.

Most of my products I sell run around the 4% mark for commission, but with that kind of revenue being generated it added up to about $800. The thing is with Amazon if you can get it going now and get traffic to it..it's great for the holiday season because Amazon doubles your earnings in the month of December. So I made about $1,600 in one month just off of a standalone store that I promoted from my site.

Now I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing or not, but I highly recommend the aStore option especially if you set them in an iFrame on your page...makes them blend in a little better. Just think of them as a advertisement that fills your entire page. Once the user visits your store...it saves a 30 day cookie to their machine and you get revenue from all of that.

Now having cart functionality or a "Buy it Now" button is new to me. I don't tinker with too much else Amazon has to offer except for their products links and some Omakase links...and they seem to convert well too. It's all about timing.
