MFA Sites - Whats the Deal

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what the deal is with these Made For Adsense sites are all about. I understand now that apparently google is targeting publishers who own such sites.

However, I am seeing several places where MFA sites/services are being offered for sale. The claims are these sites are making anywhere from 500 bucks a month on up.

What I gather from these sales threads are that there is a script involved and a specific advertising method used to bring in the traffic for the clicks. It seems the more money spent on advertising the more you make. The advertising is also apparently cheap.

Does anyone know what the deal is regarding this setup. I'm interested in knowing what the deal is with these scripts and the advertising as I am assuming it thru adwords but not sure. I wouldn't think adwords would be so cheap to get such targeted traffic.

The process of buying traffic from adwords and sending it to pages with adsense on it is called PPC Arbitrage (ww.arbitragepayperclick.com/2007/01/07/wow-the-first-real-post-profiting-from-pay-per-click-arbitrage/).

For the simple MFA sites, its as simple as gathering keyword lists and making site with them using some automated scripts such as Magic Builder, Portal Generator, etc...

Hope this help,

1. MFA sites make Google money too, but if they're making noise about shutting them down, then of course some webmasters are going to get one final hurrah out of their site by selling it. The site itself is WORTHLESS if you don't know how to drive cheap traffic to it.

2. Seomaster that sig is really inappropriate. You're 5 posts in, with no original threads, and you think Earners Forum needs to change to accommodate your signature links? Tracking your site's traffic is not this site's problem.

Its not like I am asking to re-code the forum... I just had a url that has a variable at the end to count how many people click on my link. Is it against the TOS? I doubt it... I will fix my sig but the moderators should be able to see the difference between Affiliate urls and other regular urls.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Rob, thats another thing I'm trying to learn or pick up. What methods to use to drive cheap traffic to these sites. And actually, not even just these MFA sites which apparently have their days numbered, but for any type of site.

I've tried to do some research but not knowing exactly what to look into regarding these methods I'm not getting anywhere. Any further guidance would greatly be appreciated. Thanks again guys.

Learn how to code and rewrite the URL's

MFA sites are simple sites with adsense plastered all over them, trying not to link out and get people to click on ads

To OP, there is this thing that I have started using called Niche Creator. A demo of this is available at one of my domains, africa

What it does is pull news off of Yahoo / Google / BBC and then caches them to your server every 24 hours. Then when the domain is queried by a user it displays them, as well as your ads.
My advice, get this script Buy 1-2 .info domains from godaddy for 1.21 then set up 300-1000 subdomains of various niches. Don't forget to make the sitemaps and submit to google. Wait a few weeks for inclusion and there you go.

I average about $0.20 per site per day and I only have 200 right now, will have 1500 by the end of the weekend.

Reed, maybe it's because I left my glasses on the nightstand this morning, but I'm not seeing your ads on that africa subdomain...

MFA sites used to be much more prevalent (IMO) back when gaming Google was much easier. All one had to do was put up a site with thousands of pages, wait for Google to index them, and they would be good to go.

Now most people do use Arbitrage with their MFA sites, although I have seen some pretty original variations on the old SEO method.

Oh, and not all MFA sites have Adsense plastered on them - sometimes it makes more sense not to plaster Adsense on your site to get a better CTR.

Please excuse my ignorance, as I may be missing it here... But bottom line, what is/are the method of actually getting the traffic to the sites. Or rather getting all the cheap traffic to make so much from adsense.

I must admit I'm a noob, but my understanding is that without any promotion, a site despite how many pages it may have simply won't bring in a ton of traffic, especially enough for a good ctr.

Sometimes people use organic SEO to drive the traffic to their pages. Basically they generate a huge keyword list, automatically generate pages that are optimized for each of those keywords, and then do light link building to the site to get those pages ranking well.

The more popular method these days is to use adsense arbitrage. This is where you generate a huge keyword list, bid low on the keywords using Adwords but create your site to focus on the high paying Adsense keywords. In theory, then, you'll be paying less for the traffic that you bring in than you make in clicks on the site.
